I would argue that the ongoing occupation and disproportionate use of force by Israel are both morally indefensible and strategically disastrous. The indefinite control of more than 70% of the Gaza Strip, alongside forced displacement of civilians, amounts to collective punishment and a violation of international law. I call for an immediate, unconditional ceasefire, robust humanitarian aid, and a renewed commitment to Palestinian self-determination and human rights, while critiquing Western governments for their complicity and failure to hold Israel accountable.
