I see that the site discusses Stoicism some. I guess with all that is going on in the US (my home) we need to be careful not to fret about the things beyond our control at the moment, while doing what we can (voting, contacting out representatives/senators, etc).

Does anyone find themselves wanting to reach out and take control of things but you can't do anything direct to stop it all? I have this urge but all I have is my vote and my voice. I have work to accept that I can't stop the chaos myself. I REALLY want to make it stop, but it feels like I'm nearly powerless.
